Hairstylist Philip Carreon is recognized as one of the most skilled and widely respected artists working in the salon, fashion and entertainment industries.

With a career spanning over three decades in both salons and on set, Philip has established himself as the go-to stylist for that ‘done but undone' look so many desire.

Philip is well known for the countless changes throughout the career of the legendary late Prince.  From Purple Rain to Musicology, his creations influenced generations far beyond the fans of the musical genius.

Other notables on his extraordinary clientele list include Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Winona Ryder, Courteney Cox and Miley Cyrus, among others.

A native of Los Angeles, Philip spent the first half of his career working for Sebastian International, developing a reputation as both a gifted stylist and educator.  He can also be seen in seasons nine and ten of the award winning Project Runway as Garnier’s Celebrity Stylist.

He previously served as Creative Image Director for Eufora Professional hair products.

In 1991, Philip opened his own salon, Estilo, now Ramos Carreon Salon, having partnered with fellow celebrity stylist and friend Robert Ramos.    

Owning a salon and working with a wide range of clients has helped him to develop his signature look of ‘stylized form haircutting’ combined with tons of texture and movement.

Philip has collaborated with photographers including Annie Leibovitz, Bruce Weber, and Mario Testino, and his work has been seen in magazines such as Vogue, W, Vanity Fair, Allure, and Elle.

His film work includes Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Punch-Drunk Love, The Mexican, and Charlie Wilson’s War.
