Born and bred in New York, Kristofer began his career at the Metropolitan Opera after being scouted by an actress in Penn Station for his own personal style. He was then catapulted onto the fashion scene when Steven Meisel booked him for the cover of Italian Vogue. Kristofer’s work has since been featured on the covers and in the pages of Allure, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, InStyle and Rolling Stone in addition to some of the most iconic music videos of our time. His creative work with photographers Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz, Ruven Afanador, Ellen Von Unwerth, Jenny Gage & Tom Betterton and Patrick Demarchelier has led to an ever-growing list of advertising clients including Christian Dior, Gucci, Procter & Gamble, Coty, Stephen Webster and Neutrogena. Most recently, Kristofer has launched his own cosmetics line, Kristofer Buckle Cosmetics, available exclusively at Costco.
