Jules Wood is a British born freelance stylist who has lived and worked in Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York.
Upon graduation from art school, her desire to travel landed her in Tokyo, where she worked with Japanese pop stars such as Hikaru Utada and Fay Ray amongst others. After four years in Japan, she returned to London where she assisted Vivienne Westwood and Yohji Yamamoto in their boutiques and dressed celebrities such as Sir Elton John, Alexander McQueen, Charles Saatchi and Neil Tennant.
After her stint back in London, she was sent to Hong Kong to be Fashion Editor at B International Magazine. After two years in Hong Kong, New York called. Her time was split between advertising jobs with Orbit, Sol Beer, Heineken, Romeo + Juliet, Nintendo, Johnson & Johnson, Philip Kingsley, D Fuse and being a fashion stylist for magazines such as Schon, Elle, Tatler, Marie Claire, Nylon, Paper, Zoo, Galore, Client, Carbon Copy and Beauty Rebel.
In 2011, Jules Wood was invited to be the New York Fashion Editor of Client Magazine and Beauty Rebel and in 2014, Jules was appointed as Fashion Editor and later partner for critically acclaimed Reserved Magazine. Jules is a specialist for e-comm mass merchants, consulting for FarFetch as well styling for Amazon Fashion.
Wood now spends the lionshare of her time in Los Angeles where a vast array of celebrities and super models depend on her eye. Her clients include Helena Christensen, Franz Ferdinand, Rose McGowan, Lou Reed, Lizzie Jaggar, Theodore Richards, Caroline Vreeland, Alex Pettyfer, Shia LaBeouf, Laura Poitras, Alysia Reiner, Brooke Shields, Steven Yeun & Jane Levy.
